As well as offering a method to guarantee the long-term future of playing fields and other outdoor recreational spaces we also work hard to offer as much support as possible to the sites we protect to guarantee its recreational use for the local community.

Fields in Trust provides advice and information – or signposts to its partners - on all aspects relating to playing fields and outdoor recreational spaces from:

• Charitable status

Right now we’re working on a toolkit for communities that will help to deal with all these issues along with things such as licences for lettings to sports organisations, governing instruments and constitutions to deeds to protect sites charitably which will be available very soon.

We’ve been doing this for a long time and are the foremost protector of recreational land in the UK so it is rare occasion when a situation arises that we haven’t encountered before!
