CPFAS
County Playing Fields Associations (CPFAs) work to help local communities to safeguard and improve outdoor sport, play and recreation facilities. They provide information and advice to town and parish councils and other local organisations on how to plan and provide high quality and safe outdoor recreation spaces for all ages, including guidance on sources of funding. They also keep an eye on relevant planning issues.
There is a CPFA or equivalent in the majority of non-metropolitan counties of England. Each CPFA is an independent charity working in the light of the local needs and circumstances of their county.
There is a representative National CPFA Support Committee which works to share best practice and co-operates with Fields in Trust to achieve our common aims.
